Felix, Amelia & Yeimy read a poem at our Earth Day celebration

May potluck, Movers and Makers Camp, Juneteenth, + MORE!

Hi Friends and neighbors!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to our Earth Day work day and Potluck at The Perch. Many hands made light work and our hedge row has a beautiful layer of mulch (a gift from our friends at Mulch Here Now). We also enjoyed many nature poems and songs, plus special guest Kilik Smith, a self taught musician and member of the Ashton Dooley Band, set up his keyboard and played a few tunes.

We have several things going on at The Perch this summer including memorial services, potlucks and Movers and Makers Camp. Please read on, get involved, mark your calendars, give generously, and be sure to tell your friends and neighbors about what’s happening at The Perch!

Would you like to host a public or private event at The Perch? Do you have ideas for something fun like a game night, community celebration, class you’d like to teach, concert or skill to share?

Would you like to have a wedding, memorial service, shower or party at The Perch?

Fill out this form to make a request to use The Perch. We look forward to seeing your ideas, putting them on the calendar and seeing you soon!

Help young people in our community grow and thrive at The Perch!

In a forest, every plant has a purpose. From pioneering wildflowers to mighty oaks, our sponsors work in succession to strengthen our community, especially the work we are doing at Movers and Makers Camp.

Now in its fourth summer, Movers and Makers Camp is something campers and counselors look forward to all year.

Thanks to generous donations, camp has already raised more than $2,000.

Can you help us raise all we need for this summer and beyond? In addition to financial donations, we are also accepting the items on this list.
